Designing the bespoke stationery for R & W’s wedding at Lains Barn was a truly special experience. Their celebration was a beautiful fusion of English and Hindu traditions, and the vibrant rich green and orange colour palette brought warmth and depth to every piece. The couple wanted something that would reflect their unique cultural blend, so we created an invitation suite that combined traditional elements with modern elegance.
The invitation was designed in a detailed pocketfold style, featuring separate cards for each key moment of their wedding festivities. From the lively Sangeet to the sacred Anand Karaj and the wedding ceremony and reception, every card had its own distinct style while maintaining the cohesive aesthetic of the overall design. The rich hues of green and orange were carried through each piece, and floral details intertwined with the timeless buta pattern added a layer of sophistication and meaning.
This project was not only about aesthetics but about capturing the essence of two cultures coming together in love. The floral and buta motifs symbolized growth, beauty, and tradition, while the colours brought vibrancy and joy. I’m thrilled to have been a part of R & W’s special day by creating stationery that reflected the heart and soul of their wedding.
